Pay your bill in person at any of the many authorized Payment Agents located conveniently throughout Michigan or at any of our Customer Office locations. You may also pay via an Unauthorized Payment Agent, but please note that these payments may take longer to be applied to your account.
Payment Agents send your bill payments electronically to DTE Energy. Payments are updated to your account within 2 hours. Authorized Payment Agents accept full or partial payments by cash, checks or money order, before or after the due date - including shut-off notice payments.

DTE Energy does not receive any portion of this fee.
Unauthorized Payment Agents are a third party entity not contracted by DTE Energy. Unauthorized Payment Agents will accept customer payments and then present payment information and funds to DTE Energy at their convenience. Examples of Unauthorized Payment Agents include: the
customer's bank, a convenience store, Western Union, Wal-Mart, Traveler's Express, etc.
DTE Energy Customer Offices are open from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). You may perform both Detroit Edison and MichCon transactions at these locations.
