Sometimes a gas meter or gas service line can be in the way of home improvement plans. Now, MichCon makes it easier to get the natural gas service alteration you need!

Before requesting a service alteration, please be sure you are able to provide the following information. It will help us complete your request accurately.

  • Meter Information
    The location of where the gas meter will be installed.
    The distance (in feet) from the front of the building to the meter location.
    The number of meters you will need (if more than one).
  • Length of Service Line Needed
    The distance, measured in feet, from the property line to the meter location.
  • Appliance Information
    The types of natural gas appliances used and the BTU input for each (if known).
