Why do I need a Personal Identification Number (PIN)?
The PIN will be used to identify your credentials and validate that you have permission to register for online access to your DTE Energy accounts. You will only be required to use the PIN the first time you register your accounts.

How many users can access our DTE Energy accounts?
The number of user profiles you can create is not limited. However, there can only be one administrator for your company's online account.

How does the Company protect my personal information?
We use industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring personally identifiable information. When we transfer certain types of sensitive information such as financial, personal, account, or service information, we redirect visitors to a secure server where all communication between your computer and ours is scrambled into hard to decipher code and then translated back to meaningful communication.

I can already access some of my DTE Energy accounts online and even pay my bill online. Can I do this for all of my accounts?
If you are a large commercial, industrial, manufacturing or institutional business customer you can pay your bill online for FREE using your checking or savings account. Payments can be made immediately to your DTE Energy account. If you are paying by bank account, you may also schedule payments for a future date.
