Within our service area, we offer a full-service maintenance program that provides for normal repairs and preventive maintenance over the lifetime of your lighting system.

Service and Maintenance Options

Detroit Edison offers your community three options to meet your outdoor lighting needs:

1. Company-Owned/Company-Maintained (Option I)
   Community Lighting will provide all maintenance -- preventive and emergency. We are responsible for all maintenance for your lighting system -- allowing you to focus your resources elsewhere.
   
   
2. Customer-Owned/Company-Maintained (Option II)
   Community Lighting will provide replacement of glassware and lamps on outdoor lighting systems that are built to Detroit Edison's standards. This option has been closed to new customers effective Jan. 14, 2009.
   
   
3. Customer-Owned/Customer-Maintained (Option III)
   Community Lighting supplies the energy for customer-owned and maintained outdoor lighting systems.
