Because we’re committed to providing our customers with reliable electric service, DTE Energy works year-round to maintain and upgrade the electrical system. Part of that commitment includes trimming trees and tree branches.

This significantly reduces the chances of an outage caused by trees, or tree branches falling onto overhead power lines.  We visit each community within this region once every five years to trim trees.
