Located in north central Texas, the Barnett shale formation has emerged as one of the largest and most active gas fields in North America. DTE Gas Resources holds in excess of 50,000 leasehold acres with plans to expand. We have approximately 145 producing wells in the Fort Worth basin and continue to add wells. |
Current production is about 12 mmcfd (million cubic feet per day). For 2008, we've forecasted net production of 5 - 6 Bcf (billion cubic feet).
