The DTE Energy Foundation believes economic development and environmental protection are not mutually exclusive. Responsible economic growth provides the resources necessary to protect the environment, while environmental protection helps to sustain growth. Our grants focus on organizations and programs that seek to develop an awareness and understanding of the connections between environmental protection and sustainable development, as well as programs dedicated to the Great Lakes ecosystem.
