Fundraising Events
DTE Energy supports charitable fundraising events each year. Please be advised that our budget for these activities is often committed a year in advance. To submit a request, please write to Corporate Contributions and Community Involvement at 2000 2nd Ave., 1578 WCB, Detroit, Michigan 48226. Your request should include the date of the event, budget, recognition opportunities and fair market value of the ticket. It should be mailed at least 45 days before the event takes place. You should receive a reply within 30 business days.
Computer and Furniture Donations
We recycle used computers and office furniture by donating these still serviceable items to non-profit organizations. To be considered for a donation, send a letter on your non-profit's letterhead to Corporate Contributions and Community Involvement at 2000 2nd Ave., 1578 WCB, Detroit, Michigan 48226. Your letter should provide specific information on the type of equipment requested and quantity, description of how the equipment will be used and a contact name and telephone number. Requests for used computers and office furniture are reviewed and processed when quantities become available or tri-annually. You will be contacted only when a determination has been made.
