Located in north central Texas, the Barnett shale formation has emerged as one of the largest and most active gas fields in North America.

DTE Gas Resources holds approximately 60,000 leasehold acres with plans to expand.

We own and operate more than 170 producing wells in the Fort Worth basin and continue to add wells.

Current production is about 17 mmcfd (million cubic feet per day). For 2009, we've forecasted net production of approximately 5 Bcfe (billion cubic feet equivalent).
