Customer Assistance Days, providing help and hope to our customers

Today in Michigan, over one million people are living under the Federal poverty level. Our state’s struggling economy, coupled with our unforgiving winters, means the need for utility bill payment assistance is great. DTE Energy has partnered with local agencies and organizations to provide case management solutions, energy-efficiency education, and utility payment assistance to customers in need throughout the year.

Onsite services include: Help applying for Energy Assistance; weatherization tips that reduce your energy bills; access to various human services agencies and more.
