Mark King

Mark M. King is the manager of the Economic Development team responsible for business attraction and retention activities for DTE Energy’s regulated utilities and subsidiaries.. He has held leadership positions in the Marketing and Renewables organization, Customer Service and Thermal Energy.
Prior to joining DTE Energy, King worked for the International Business Machines Corporation (IBM), as a field manager responsible for managing customer engineers, a service business manager responsible for selling IBM value added services, and an advisory marketing specialist responsible for selling business recovery services.
Mark earned a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from Wayne State University, and a MBA in Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Rutherford, NJ. He is a member of the Detroit Regional Chamber, board member of HP DEVCO, Inc and serves on the executive board of VantagePort Aerotropolis Development Corporation.

Peggy Black

Peggy Black, principal account manager, is a veteran with 17-years of experience in the utility economic development realm. She is well versed in getting the right team members to the table to bring your project to fruition. She handles our western counties - Livingston, Monroe and Washtenaw - as well as projects for data centers, LED/SSL technology, nuclear suppliers, transportation, advanced manufacturing, life sciences, and industrial.
Peggy is a member of the Livingston Economic Development Council - past president, board member, Monroe Business Development Council - board member, and Michigan Economic Developers Association - past president, board member.

Monique Holliday-Bettie

Monique Holliday-Bettie is responsible for developing strategies for economic development and implementing projects that support job growth and retention in DTE Energy’s northeast service territory, which includes Macomb, St. Clair, Lapeer, Huron, Sanilac and Tuscola counties. Her industry focus includes wind energy, defense agriculture, food service and education.
Monique has more than 13-years experience working with midsize manufacturing customers, providing rate information, building expansion, and new construction expertise.
Monique is on the board of directors for the Economic Development Alliance of St. Clair County and the Lapeer Development Corporation. She is also a member of the Michigan Economic Developers Association (MEDA) & the Lapeer Economic Club.

Carolyn Bennett

Carolyn Bennett has more than 30 years of Economic Development experience. She worked for the State of Michigan, Michigan Economic Development Corporation and local economic development organizations in southeast and mid Michigan. Her experience includes financing, as well as attraction and retention.
Carolyn joined DTE Energy 5 years ago, and supports Oakland County and the solar energy, health care, retail, insurance, and construction services industries. She is a graduate of Leadership Oakland and member of the National Development Council.

Jacqueline Young

Jacqueline Young is an Economic Development Account Manager at DTE Energy. Her assigned areas include the City of Detroit and Wayne County, Michigan along with the auto, battery and entertainment industries.
Jacqueline’s background includes global sales team leadership, account management, strategic planning and process development. Jacqueline is a persuasive communicator, with demonstrated ability to bridge gaps between disparate groups. She believes in win-win solutions and that the best answer often lies in the middle.
Jacqueline has an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park and an MBA from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University. She serves on the boards of the Jefferson East Business Association and the Green Door Initiative.
