Belle River Power Plant
Highlights: Certified as a corporate wildlife habitat by the Wildlife Habitat Council since 1996 - Belle River Power Plant is the certified habitat on the St. Clair River Waterways for Wildlife Project. By naturalizing plant property and installing nest boxes for bluebirds, mallards and wood ducks, the BRPP is now home to many species of plants and animals. ISO 14001 certified 2002.

Belle River Power Plant is a fossil-fueled electricity producer: We strive to operate efficiently, with a commitment to continual improvement, prevention of pollution, and compliance with regulatory and other applicable requirements.

Conners Creek Power Plant
Highlights: Conners Creek Power Plant is a natural gas-fueled plant located in Detroit. The plant is a cycling power plant, operated seasonally to provide power during periods of high demand.
Environmental Policy
Conners Creek Power Plant is a major energy conversion facility, natural gas handler and processor for DTE Energy. We, Union and Management representatives, together, are committed to:
- Controlling and preventing pollution
- Protecting the environment
- Complying with relevant Governmental Regulations and Corporate Policies, including other commitments made by the organization
- Continually improving our Environmental Management System
This policy establishes the framework for setting and reviewing our objectives and targets to support the Environmental Management System.

Fermi 2 Power Plant
Highlights: Recognized by the State of Michigan as a Clean Corporate Citizen since 2000. Certified as a wildlife site by the Wildlife Habitat Council since 2000. The Fermi 2 grounds are the largest parcel in the Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge, a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service that will protect and manage the wildlife and fish populations on Fermi 2 grounds.
Environmental Policy
As the electricity provider of choice, a provider of a clean source of energy, and as residents of this community, we, the employees of Fermi 2, take our role in protecting and enhancing the environment very seriously. We are proud of our environmental performance.
Together, we will:
- Continue to operate in compliance with federal, state and local regulations, corporate policies, facility procedures and other requirements to which we subscribe;
- Continually strive to control, reduce and prevent pollution and thus our impact to the environment;
- Maintain and continually improve an integrated environmental management system (EMS) in support of the competitive operation of Fermi 2.

Home to many species of plants and animals, including a pair of peregrine falcons that have successfully fledged 10 young since 1994 The Monroe Power Plant has hosted the National Audubon Society's annual Christmas Bird Count since 1979. ISO 14001 certified 2003

As an industry leader of power production and fuel blending, we will utilize our skills and abilities to continually:

River Rouge Power Plant
Highlights: Currently the River Rouge Power Plant is pursuing certification as a corporate wildlife habitat by the Wildlife Habitat Council. The site is the winter home to a pair of peregrine falcons. The plant Green Team is installing bluebird boxes and raptor perches, planting a butterfly garden and building brush piles for wildlife habitat. ISO 14001 certified 2003
