We, the employees of MichCon and its DTE Energy Partners, are committed to the safe supply and distribution of clean natural gas for home and industry.  Together as a company we will continue to:

• Identify and reduce pollution
• Protect and improve the environment
• Comply with environmental regulations and other applicable requirements
• Maintain and improve our environmental management system.

This policy establishes a framework for setting environmental objectives and targets.

 The following MichCon facilities have been certified to the ISO 14001 Standard to date.  

Service Centers The main function of a service station is to monitor and maintain the natural gas distribution system. They are responsible for the delivery of natural gas to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Other activities may include: meter reading, planning and construction, appliance repair, city gate station maintenance, meter repair, laboratory services, and administrative functions. Compressor Stations The main function of the compressor station is to compress, store, regulate, meter, and withdraw high pressure natural gas. These stations may store and transport natural gas for several different natural gas suppliers throughout the State and Canada. They also supply natural gas to the distribution system that our customers come to rely on. Pictured: Belle River Mills
