- Pursue proactive and innovative stewardship activities offering opportunities for employees, environmental groups, conservation organizations and others to enhance wildlife habitat on company property and rights-of-way.

- Participate in the development or revision of environmental laws, regulations and policies for the benefit of its stakeholders.

- Adopt economically sound means to minimize waste generation (reduce, reuse, recycle) and to safely dispose of unavoidable waste.
