The Eldercare Support Group provides DTE Energy employees who are currently caring for elder loved ones or planning to care for elder loved ones in the future with a safe space to obtain support, share resources, and gain information from eldercare experts and peers going through a similar situation.

Education Sessions

Throughout the year eldercare experts specializing in a number of areas provide presentations at the Downtown Complex to help educate DTE Energy employees on their responsibilities as a caregiver, the resources available to them, and the issues they may encounter as a caregiver.

  • Watch DTE Daily for more information or contact Energize Your Life at eyl@dteenergy.com for a list of upcoming presentations.

Discussion Forum

Once per month a meeting is held at the Downtown Complex which serves as a forum for discussion among members to share resources and obtain support from one another. The forum meetings are led by a fellow DTE Energy employee with personal eldercare experience whose role is to act as a facilitator of the discussion only. The support group is not meant to serve as a counseling or therapy group. Please contact EAP at 313.874.7122 if you'd like to speak with a professional counselor.

*Note: Meetings are subject to change. Confirm meeting dates and times are accurate with EYL prior to the meeting date.
