Non-represented employees and spouses enrolled in DTE medical benefits, as well as select Affiliate groups, have the opportunity to earn up to $400 each per year by participating in the Energize Your Life Activity Credits program.

Employees and spouses can earn up to $100 per quarter by participating in a variety of programs and services offered through Energize Your Life. Dollars earned over the $100 maximum will roll over to the following quarter. You must earn a minimum of $10 in a quarter to receive the incentive.

Credits will be paid out in the quarter following completion. For example, activities completed in 1st Quarter will be paid out at the beginning of 2nd Quarter.

Employees will receive their credits in their paycheck listed under line item Special Pay GU. Credit amounts will be grossed up to cover taxes, so the amount listed on the paycheck will be higher than the incentive amount.

Spouses will receive a gift certificate mailed to their home. The gift certificate can be redeemed for a gift card to more than 350 retail stores nationwide, or a Visa gift card to be used wherever Visa is accepted.
