How it works

BudgetWise® Billing evenly spreads out your energy bill payments so you pay the same amount each month. We calculate an average monthly amount based on your previous year’s usage. You pay this amount for 11 months. In the 12th month, you pay the difference between the energy you actually used and the 11 payments you made.  This bill brings your balance back to zero.

We still read your meter(s) each month and your bill shows what your actual energy usage was and what you’ve paid. Every six months, we review your account and we may adjust your monthly amount to help you avoid an overpayment or underpayment in the 12th month.

How to Unenroll

You may unenroll from this plan at any time. By doing so, you will owe the outstanding balance in addition to your current monthly charges.
