This Web site is intended to guide you through everything you need to know regarding the “Interconnection Process” and provide you with information about the rates Detroit Edison will charge for power we provide to you and pay or credit you for your generation from renewable generation capacity of 20 kW or less.
There are several major steps to interconnect a customer-owned generation project to the electrical system. It is recommended that the interconnecting customer consult the approved equipment list and apply for interconnection prior to major equipment purchases.
