Ready to get started? The following 7 steps demonstrate the order in which you should proceed.

1. Select a solar installer and determine your planned PV system size.
2. Submit your SolarCurrents Application* and your Interconnection Application*.
3. Begin installing your system once both applications are approved.
4. Provide proof of installation and copies of local/municipal inspections.
5. Sign and return Parallel Operating Agreement and SolarCurrents Agreement (contract).
6. Collect your up-front REC payment in the form of a check.
7. Begin receiving monthly REC credits on your DTE Energy bill.
