A home energy audit is the first step to determine how much energy your house uses and what improvements you should make to save money and energy.

- identify which improvements will save you the most money
Your Energy SavingsSM Home Energy Audit Offers
The Your Energy Savings program offers four ways for you to learn about the energy management opportunities in your home. Each energy audit will help you identify easy to install measures to help reduce your energy use and control your energy costs.
Depending on which option you choose, you can qualify for an audit rebate of up to $150, plus take advantage of additional incentives* on individual insulation and weatherization upgrades.

Option 1
Perform a free online audit using MyEnergy Analyzer. When you complete the online audit, we'll mail you a FREE energy efficiency kit valued at $25.
To participate, go to MyEnergy Analyzer and select the Perform an Energy Audit link.
You can also take advantage of additional incentives* on individual insulation and weatherization upgrades.

Option 2
The Home Energy Consultation (HEC) program is an in-home energy consultation that will provide you with an energy assessment of your home. It includes the installation of energy efficient items such as compact fluorescent light bulbs, water heater pipe insulation, water saving shower heads and faucet aerators (items may vary).
In addition, you will receive a list of actions that you can implement in both the short- and long- term to save energy year-round. Trained energy consultants will provide you with the information you need to save energy and save money.

You can also take advantage of additional incentives* on individual insulation and weatherization upgrades.

Option 3
The Comprehensive Energy Audit is an in-home inspection conducted by a certified energy auditor. At a minimum, your Comprehensive Audit will include a detailed assessment of the building envelope and systems, a blower door test (a diagnostic test designed to accurately measure and locate sources of air leakage in/out of your home) and a detailed summary page of specific recommended improvements.
Receive a $75 rebate on the cost of your Comprehensive Audit NOW and an additional $75 rebate when you install qualifying insulation and weatherization upgrades within 12 months. Customers choosing to have an Option 3 Comprehensive Audit are offered unique "Audit only" air sealing rebates and higher rebate levels for insulation and weatherization upgrades. (view chart*).

Option 4
The Comprehensive Energy Audit including a Home Energy Efficiency Rating (HERS) is in-home inspection and rating conducted by a certified energy auditor/home rater. Your Comprehensive Audit and HERS package will include: a detailed assessment of the building envelope and systems, a blower door test (a diagnostic test designed to accurately measure and locate sources of air leakage in/out of your home), a thermal imaging analysis, a detailed summary page of specific recommended improvements, custom energy-savings/payback analysis and a software-generated HERS index score.
Receive a $75 rebate on the cost of your Comprehensive Audit NOW and an additional $75 rebate when you install qualifying insulation and weatherization upgrades within 12 months. Customers choosing an Option 4 Comprensive Energy Audit with HERS are offered unique “Audit only” air sealing rebates and higher rebate levels for insulation and weatherization upgrades (view chart*).
