Eligible DTE Energy customers will receive a FREE assessment of the health, safety, comfort, and energy performance of your home and a written Home Energy Plan with detailed suggestions to help lower your energy bills and increase comfort. But, that is just the beginning.

Once you’ve decided which projects on your Home Energy Plan fit your needs and priorities, DTE Energy will manage the entire process for you. From writing a scope of work for your projects to getting competitive bids from specially trained and hand-picked Home Performance Contractors – DTE Energy will guide you through the process from start to finish. We’ll even help you cash in on all the rebates available to reduce your up front costs.

While every home is different, the Home Performance Pilot Program will focus on upgrades that provide the most for your money, comfort and energy savings.

2. Add Attic Insulation
3. Improve Attic Ventilation
4. Sealing Air Leaks in Your Basement/Crawl space
5. Insulating Your Basement/Crawl space
6. Add Insulation to Exterior Walls
7. Increase Efficiency of Heating and Cooling Equipment
8. Replace Inefficient Windows and Doors
9. Replacement of heating and cooling equipment (not shown)
10. Replacement of water heating equipment (not shown)
