2010 Calendar of Events
Mercy Education Project in southwest Detroit needs volunteers to assist girls in grades 1 – 8 whose reading and/or math skills are below grade level.
Monthly information sessions/tours are offered for prospective volunteers and others interested in learning more about the organization. Upcoming dates and times are:
Wednesday, Sept. 15, 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and
Thursday, Sept. 16, 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Every retiree has a role to play and our "I Can Help!" program is a simple way for all of us to make a difference. Use "I Can Help!" to assist customers whose concerns with our company have not been resolved through our Customer Service Line, 800.477.4747, or our website (dteenergy.com).
When customers come to you with unresolved DTE Energy concerns, own the problem:
1. Ask if they have already contacted the company through normal channels.
2. If they haven't, instruct them to go to the DTE Energy website (dteenergy.com) or call the Customer Service Line, 800.477.4747.
3. Get their name and phone number so you can follow up the next day to ensure the issue has been addressed.
4. If it wasn't addressed, use I Can Help! to submit a referral via:

A member of the "I Can Help!" team will contact the customer within one business day and provide you with written notification when the issue is resolved. It may take up to 10 business days from the date the referral is received to circle back to you with an update.
