DTE Energy (NYSE:DTE) today released its Sustainability Report, the company's annual publication detailing its plan to build a cleaner, affordable and more reliable grid of the future.
DTE’s CleanVision highlights how the company is laser focused on creating a cleaner, healthier environment today and for generations to come, outlining how the company plans to affordably meet its net zero and reliability goals. The report includes priorities from operations and human capital management to sustainability and corporate citizenship.
“DTE is investing more than ever to build the grid of the future while simultaneously caring for the most vulnerable by keeping energy as affordable as possible,” said Jerry Norcia, DTE chairman and CEO. “We are working collaboratively with stakeholders as we rapidly drive to net zero and invest in infrastructure to improve reliability for our customers. This report provides a way for us to transparently share our sustainability strategies to help drive progress for everyone in the communities where we live and serve.”
DTE’s Sustainability Report highlights the company’s work on key topics in ESG that are important to customers, employees, investors and other community stakeholders, while also guiding readers to where they can access more detailed information about specific topics of interest. This year’s report is supported by standard frameworks, including the Edison Electric Institute (EEI) and American Gas Association (AGA) ESG/Sustainability templates, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and Sustainable Accounting Standards Board (SASB).
