Khalil Rahal is director of Economic Development. He has partnered with local municipalities, the state of Michigan and local, national and international developers to bring jobs and investments into Wayne County. Rahal has also managed multiple divisions of county government, including Economic Development, Department of Public Services, Facilities Buildings and Real Estate, Land Bank, Community Development and Management and Budget.

MIGreenPower
Use renewable energy without upfront costs. We offer a rate based on the percentage of your overall energy usage. Enroll in 5% increments up to 100% and get credit for reducing your company's overall carbon footprint.
Natural Gas Balance
Reduce greenhouse gas emissions with our affordable and renewable natural gas supply. DTE's program lets you offset some or all of your natural gas usage. Our program directly benefits Michigan's Upper Peninsula forest with carbon offsets.
