Landowners who host DTE renewable energy projects receive additional income they can count on. Whether your farm could use extra money to cover expenses, or you just want to make sure you have a secure succession plan for your land, hosting a wind or solar park can help you keep your farm in the family for generations to come. When the project’s lifespan is complete and we restore the land to its original condition, your grandchildren and great-grandchildren will still be able to farm the land.

Each DTE renewable energy project supports hundreds of jobs during construction, utilizing Michigan-based construction companies and primarily union workers. These workers spend money at your local businesses – like restaurants, hotels and grocery stores – supporting your hometown economy. Once operational, each wind and solar park creates several permanent, full-time jobs. These wind and solar technician jobs often go to people from the community, paying good wages and allowing our new team members to raise their families right where they were raised themselves.
