Storm Update

We recognize how challenging it is to be without power. For our customers who are still waiting for restoration, we are sorry for the continued disruption. Our Storm Response Team is working as quickly and safely as possible to restore service and is on track to restore 95% of impacted customers by the end of day today, Monday, July 6. View your restoration estimate by clicking “Outage Status" in the Outage Center.

Please be safe and remain at least 25 feet away from downed power lines or anything in contact with them. Assume any downed line is live and dangerous.

Electric Rate Filing - On April 28, 2026, DTE Electric filed an investment request with the Michigan Public Service Commission. If fully approved, the average commercial bill could increase by $25.77/5% per month. Bills will not be impacted until a final order is issued in approximately February 2027. Note: assumes 3,300 kWh used.
