Multifamily properties that typically participate in the program include apartments, cooperative housing, condominiums, senior living facilities and dormitories. To be eligible, properties must have three or more units under one roof and use DTE as their natural gas and/or electric provider.
See our eligibility requirements and list of qualified rebates in the program catalog. You can also request a free energy assessment to learn more. In general, eligibility depends upon your DTE Energy account type and the specifics of your multifamily property.
No, an energy assessment is not required to take advantage of available rebates. But we recommend having our team on-site to uncover all the energy-saving opportunities.
After your energy assessment, you will receive a report on energy-saving opportunities and your next steps in program participation. These may include contacting a contractor or submitting a rebate application.
We are here to help! You can contact us through email, or find the account manager who serves your area with our outreach map.
