Charger Rebates
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible, you must:
- Have an active DTE electric business account that is in good standing and up to date on payments.
- Own or plan to purchase qualifying EVs within 24 months of submitting your application.
- Have the right to install, own, operate and maintain EV supply equipment on the project site, which must be located in DTE’s electric service territory.
You must also agree to:
- Maintain new EV supply equipment for at least 5 years with a qualified network provider or install a separate meter to power the equipment.
- Keep each installed charger available and operational 97% of the time.

We’ll include evaluations for Level 2 or DCFCs, centralized depot or decentralized charging, and help you anticipate future EVSE infrastructure you might find desirable.
Connecting Your EVSE to the Electric Grid
We will provide guidance for determining the optimal charging for your eFleet so you can lower electricity as a vehicle fuel cost.
We will work with you to submit an electrical load letter to connect to our clean energy grid.
