Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible, you must:

  • Have an active DTE electric business account that is in good standing and up to date on payments.
  • Own or plan to purchase qualifying EVs within 24 months of submitting your application.
  • Have the right to install, own, operate and maintain EV supply equipment on the project site, which must be located in DTE’s electric service territory.

You must also agree to:

  • Maintain new EV supply equipment for at least 5 years with a qualified network provider or install a separate meter to power the equipment.
  • Keep each installed charger available and operational 97% of the time.

Connecting Your EVSE to the Electric Grid

We will provide guidance for determining the optimal charging for your eFleet so you can lower electricity as a vehicle fuel cost.

We will work with you to submit an electrical load letter to connect to our clean energy grid.
